$500Min fake COVID-19 test claims logged nationwide
A nationwide 'no cost' COVID-19 testing operation logged more than $500 million in fraudulent claims before its chief operating officer pleaded guilty and forfeited $4,313,153 he personally received.
Fast Lab Technologies marketed free COVID-19 tests online, then billed insurers for antigen tests, saliva collection and testing that were never performed as represented. Its CEO and medical director were separately charged in 2025 and, as allegations, remain unresolved.
