A federal jury convicted Beverly Hills radiologist Ronald Grusd on 39 felony counts for paying kickbacks to clinics that referred workers' comp patients, ahead of his 10-year sentence.
Grusd's companies paid clinics in San Diego and Imperial counties to refer patients for MRIs, injections and pain medication, then billed insurers more than $25 million without disclosing the arrangement.
