240times a Washington guardian took money from client accounts
A Washington State guardian who was payee for at least 13 clients took money from 21 clients' accounts on 240 occasions over about seven years, by checks to himself and ATM withdrawals.
He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one year and a day in prison and $256,336 in restitution. The release says he targeted clients with significant income so the theft was less likely to be noticed.
