285 homesordered deeded to Pennsylvania tenants who had been renting them

A Pennsylvania judge ordered rent-to-own operator Vision Property Management to deed 285 homes outright to the tenants living in them, after finding the company's contracts were built to fail.

The November 2021 order followed a 2019 lawsuit alleging more than 650 low-income Pennsylvania families were misled; litigation against Vision and owners Alexander and Antoni Szkaradek continued, alongside later settlements adding $800,000 and $992,000 in cash restitution.
