$110 vs $1,690a fake Louis Vuitton bag against the real retail price
An undercover agent bought an alleged counterfeit Louis Vuitton handbag online for $110, a 93% discount on the $1,690 suggested retail price of the real thing.
Prosecutors allege the Ferndale, Washington seller behind the purchase advertised 467 items under 16 brands at once, and charged her with trafficking in counterfeit goods, which carries up to 10 years in prison and a $2,000,000 fine.
