$23Mordered paid by one Orlando robocaller who faked a Visa and Mastercard affiliation

A federal court ordered Kevin Guice to pay $23,099,878 after his Orlando robocall operation falsely claimed to be a 'licensed enrollment center' for Mastercard and Visa.

The 2018 summary judgment followed a 2016 FTC and Florida lawsuit naming a web of 13 shell companies; Guice contested the case through the Eleventh Circuit before losing. A 2023 refund round averaged just $117 per victim.
